Clinical Experience
1 ) One year internship , starting from 1st septemper 2004 to 31st august 2005 .
Rotations in ER , Screening , Oral surgery and comprehensive care clinics in University Hospital .
2 ) Two years clinical residency in AEGD ( Advanced Education in General Dentistry ) program in National Guard hospital in Riyadh .
Started the program in January 2006 .
The first year of the program ( 1st Jan. 2006 - 31st Dec. 2006 )
Includes managing patients in different fields of dentistry
including ( Oral surgery , Pediatric dentistry , Restorative dentistry , Endodontics , Prosthodontics & Periodontics ) .
v Oral surgery :
1 ) Management of medically compromised patients .
2 ) Dentoalveolar extractions .
3 ) Surgical placement of implants .
v Pediatric dentistry :
1 ) Prophylactic treatment and preventive measures .
2 ) Behavior management and modeling .
3 ) Full mouth rehabilitation of pediatric patients in clinic and in OR .
v Restorative dentistry :
1 ) Direct and indirect restorations .
2 ) Bleaching ( In office and home applied ) .
3 ) crowning ( PFM and PJC ) .
4 ) Ceramic veneers .
v Endodontics :
1 ) Root canal treatment of single and multi-rooted teeth .
2 ) Root canal re-treatment of single and multi-rooted teeth .
3 ) Apexification and apexogenesis .
4 ) Management of broken files and endodontic surgery .
v Prosthodontics :
1 ) Removable prosthesis ( complete denture , cast RPD , over denture and transitional denture )
2 ) Fixed prosthesis ( veneers , crowns and fixed partial denture )
3 ) Implantology ( Prosthetic part ) .
v Periodontics :
1 ) Oral hygiene instructions and prophylaxis .
2 ) Scailing and root planning .
3 ) Pocket irradiciation and curettage .
4 ) Periodontal surgery ( gengivectomy , frenectomy and crown lengthening ) .
In the second year a minimum management of 4 comprehensive cases . Including various management of different dental obstacles including root canal therapy , prosthetics , esthetics and functional rehabilitation .
